Agency Procurement Authority

The authority to enter into contracts and agreement on behalf of the State is primarily derived from A.R.S. § 41-2501, et seq., the "Arizona Procurement Code". In accordance with A.A.C. R2-7-202 pursuant to the Arizona Procurement Code, SPO manages the further delegation of Procurement Authority to the agencies.

For most State agencies, the authority to enter into contracts and agreements is conveyed to them through a delegation of Procurement Authority from the State Procurement Administrator. A listing of agencies and their delegated Procurement Authority, along with their respective contacts, is included herein.
